The Verdict
The half-life is real. Whether two weeks of elevated GH is a good idea is a different question nobody is asking.
The Evidence
CJC-1295 with Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) genuinely has a dramatically extended half-life compared to native GHRH — pharmacokinetic studies show sustained GH elevation for 6-14 days after a single injection. That part is real science. What clinic marketing glosses over: sustained non-pulsatile GH elevation is not how your body normally operates. GH pulses exist for a reason — downstream IGF-1 regulation, receptor sensitivity, and metabolic signaling all depend on cyclical patterns. Chronic GH elevation is associated with insulin resistance, soft tissue swelling, and joint pain. The anti-aging clinic pitch presents the long half-life as an unambiguous feature; pharmacologically, it is a feature with significant tradeoffs. Ask your prescriber what your IGF-1 levels are doing before and after.
